I found Jungle Me online (after Grayline cancelled my previously-booked hike at the last minute) and couldn't be happier to join Jungle Me on their Tijuca Express hike. The online booking was very easy, and their website was very easy to understand for a Canadian like me that speaks English and not Portuguese. Thiago (Tito) was a great tour guide,... More

I joined the tour at the last moment after hearing about it from some fellow visitors while at Christ the Redemer. Smooth reservation and confirm and pickup as scheduled. Very interesting favela tour, history lesson, and continual Q&A w our guide Tito. His English was excellent and he was well versed in Brazilian history and politics which made for great... More

With only one morning free to explore Rio I booked the Express Hike and had an amazing time with Tito. He gave our small group of three an insightful overview of Rio's history and during the hike pointed out some really interesting things about the Tijuca National Park. Highly recommend Jungle Me while in Rio!!

Communication was superb - we got detailed instructions and had no problem booking the tour just a few days ahead. Tito was one of the most interesting and sincere tour gudes we've had during this trip. It was great to both get the history of the country and lots of personal stories about what the life in Rio and Brazil... More

The express hike in Tijuca with Tito was a really fun and informative morning. Tito gave a great "history lesson" at the start of the tour that really put everything about Brazil and Rio into context. And he also knew a great deal about the park and its native plants and animals. The hike is really not too strenuous and... More

Did the big trail, a really nice hike in Tijuca park. It's one of the nicest things I did on my trip! The guide was very knowledgeable about Rio history, nature and culture. The maximum of 6 persons also allows for a personal approach. Would certainly this recommend to everyone.

Wow what an experience!!! From the moment we were picked up to when we were dropped off Tito was amazing, very informative and knowledgeable about the history of Brazil, in fact loved the little timeline history we were given. Would definitely do this again and the special stupid cold beer surprise at the end was absolutely brilliant!!! Thank you Tito... More

I did the Tijuca 'Big Circuit' tour and it was absolutely amazing from the beginning to the very end! Our gide was very attentive to everyone and it was great that the group was really small, only 6 people including the leader. In the begining of the tour we had a very interesting lesson on Brazilian history and during the... More

Great hike (quite easy with no technical parts) that rewards you with a fine view of Rio. One of the best parts of the day was our guide, Alex, who were very knowledgable about the nature you were walking in. If you plan on doing a guided hike in Rio Junglme is a good choice!

Jungle Me offers a different way to discover Rio de Janeiro. Visiting la favela Babilonia, one of the pacified favelas, with Tito was very interesting. I really appreciated his knowledge of the history of his country and that of the favela. He made sure we were not intrusive. Our group was made up of only five persons, plus the local... More
