Spent a few hours at Cook In Rio and Chef Simone's knowledge of the Brazillian culture and food was both entertaining and informative. I thoroughly enjoyed the food that was prepared. The only suggestion I have for her is to send us home with the recipes for the dishes we made. Once I returned stateside, it has been hard for... More

Not to offend anyone but Cook in Rio is the most fun you can have in Rio with your clothes on. Chef Simone has not only conquered the art of Brazilian cooking but she has mastered the art of teaching and making cooking fun...much in the same way Julia Child mastered French cooking and US television. Simone should have her... More

Highly recommended for... More

Cook in Rio was seriously delicious fun. Took the course on a Wednesday at lunchtime with my husband, my parents, and another couple and we had a blast. Chef Simone is wonderful, funny and authentic with plenty of opinions about all things food, Brazilian, and Rio. The class ran from 10am - 2pm and we cooked, talked, and laughed throughout.... More

I highly recommend anyone coming to Rio to take part in Cook in Rio cooking classes. Just by understanding a country's food you can understand its culture. Simone, you were totally right ;-)

We took this class based on the reviews and it was so enjoyable. It was a small class so everyone got to try their hand at cooking part of the meal. Chef Simone was very entertaining and knowledgeable. We all ate the scrumptuous meal together and enjoyed talking with each other. Perfect for a rainy day activity.

Chef Simone is a fabulous character and gets everyone involved and laughing. The class was great and the food was delicious (come hungry, you will eat a lot). We booked online which was easy to use but we did have to follow up for the confirmation (as the email when we booked said we would get a separate email to... More

Cook in Rio was great! Simone is so funny and animated, the 4 hours will fly by and you won't even notice! She not only shows you how to cook the recipes, but she explains a lot about the culture and why they use the foods they do. Our class was diverse-me and my boyfriend (27/28), my mom (60), a...
