Our 3-day adventure began with an introduction to the history of Paraty from Harry which was fascinating, funny and very detailed - and set the scene for our adventures. This was followed by dinner with Michael who briefed us on what lay ahead over the next 3 days. Our trip out from Paraty to Saco do Mamangua in a double... More

Our whole group really enjoyed our trip. Sea Kayaking offers a great way to see some parts of the coast that motor boats will not venture too. It was especially nice to see the mangroves and our guide was very helpful and gave us lots of interesting history about the area.

We chose for a whole day of sea-kayaking on the bay of Paraty. Beautiful views, pretty beaches and islands, amazing mangrove, good (english speaking) guide, but most unforgettable were the dolphins swimming right next to us. An amazing experience you shouldn't miss!

the guys know all the places to go in paraty. they speak english, and more importantly they are really friendly, helpful and easygoing. we missed a bus on one of our two trips with guys. they quickly scrambled a car and the day was fantastic, with views and swimming in spectacular places. just book, you'll be in good hands and... Both the kayaking and the guided walking tour were excellent. Our guides were knowledgeable, friendly and just plain fun. The kayaking was a great way to see the bay and take in stunning views of the coast. Our walking tour was the perfect way to take in the town while learning about its history. I highly recommend both trips and... More

This was the best hike that I have been on in Brazil. The team at Paraty Explorer were very considerate and knowlegable about the area. Porta Negra was an amazing place to visit. It was perfect to get out of São Paulo into the remote village. Although the rain stopped us from doing the last hike, it was still a... More

We opted for a half day sea kayak with Michael and Rodrigo; it was probably one of the highlights of my trip to Brazil; it gave you some absolutely stunning views of the bay around Jabaquara beach and you also gained a lot of local knowledge about the wildlife and some of the history of Paraty too. These guys take... More

Had an excellent time. Peter our tour guide was super nice and helpful, and the trip itself was well-planned and definitely worth doing. If you're in Paraty, would definitely recommend getting out a bit further with these guys. The beach, waterfall, small fishing village, and natural infinity pool were super cool. A definite highlight during my two weeks in Brazil.

Spent a week kayaking down the coast from Paraty with Paraty Explorer. The scenery is heartbreakingly beautiful. The team at Paraty Explorer, Michael, Rodrigo and Harry are proficient, professional and polite. Accommodations are very good, considering the remote locations, and the food is fantastic.

We went on the half day kayaking trip and it was a lot of fun. We got to see parts of the bay that we could not have seen, had we not been on a kayak. Michael and one of his guides were very accomodating during the trip. They gave us water, snacks, and tailored the trip so that every... More
