You have to visit this beach! Makes the travel worth it! There are no boats going there or leaving. so make sure you book one to leave, so that you can stay longer on the beach and enjoy more.

Beach is great for surfing. The hike from Abraao is 2.5h, quite hard in full mid day but worth it. Nice to do on a cloudy day!

Worth walking to the end of the beach! There is a beautiful old, abandoned church at the end of the beach, close to some big rocks in the the middle of the sand! Muy lindo, hay una iglesia, vieja y abandonada al final de la playa. Vale la pena!

We went there just after a Brazilian national holiday and it was virtually deserted. An enormous stretch of beach with tree shade if required, accessible after a 25 minute walk from where the boats deposit you. I can imagine it being quite full, but because it is 1) so big and 2) fairly inaccessible if you are not a great... More

You need to get the boat to this beach ad you must get it before 11:30 as there are no others after this point and you then need to get a taxi boat which cost much more. We got the taxi boat as we are stupid but we split the fare with other people who got on as well. When... More

this is one of the best beaches in brasil. certanly the best of the island. if you came to brasil dont waste your time in sao paulo or rio de janeiro. the best spots are ilha grande e arraial do cabo.

The beach is beautiful, with waves and surrounded by virgin rainforests. It feels a lot like paradise. But keep in mind there are no bathrooms, and you'll have to take some food. There's a small stand offering refreshments, but I'm not sure it's always theres, so it's a good idea to pack some food and water. Also if one accesses... More

the beach is huge and long. Bring food and drank with you. The best part is the 4 hrs walking: you may see monkeys, all kind of animals, really a beautiful scenery.

You can either go here by boat (R$25 for slow boat, and R$30 for fast boat, return tickets) or you can walk here which takes about 2,5 hours. The walk is nice and if you have time I would recommand this, at least one way. The beach is a 3 km all white and turquoise paradise which is beautiful! We... More
