Boutique feel and lots of bikini shops. Too packed late at night but nice to wander around the cobbled street between 6-7

Staff pushy and not very friendly. Large portions of food, but poor quality. They do give out money-off vouchers for this place, but even so just not worth a visit. They were also very fussy about where you could or could not sit.

Better shopping than in Rio, and unlike Rio most of the shops here take Amex. We had a good experience with restaurants in Buzios also.

Living in Brazil almost 2 years now and probably one of if not the nicest place I've seen so far. Clean, lots of restaurants, clubs, bars, shopping. Little pier and ocean path for nice stroll. Really liked this place and I'm a bit of a hard person to please. Only problem is the place is super warm but that's nobody's... More

The town has grown and changed considerably over the years. This is a great place for tourists to experience how truly gorgeous Brazil is...........a quaint fishing village that has evolved into a bustling tourist town. I prefer off season, now that Im older.

A great stroll in the late afternoon and after dinner. Wear comfortable shoes - cobblestone is quaint but dangerous.

Since I went with 3 teenagers (13yos) I found this place was safe to let my girls went around shopping by themselves while my husband and I stayed in the restaurant enjoying the ambience. The place gave a lot of choices to shop..from branded to cute little things and variety of restaurants. We stayed until mid night.

I loved my time in buzios and the shopping was very entertaining and fun! It is a very lively area with many restaurants as well. Everything is pretty pricey in buzios but it is a touristy place not just with foreigners but a lot of brazilian tourists as well.

It's nice, cosy, full of bars and restaurants. We walked down that road every night and still enjoyed it :)
