This beach sits on a small cove making it very swim able. It has the drink/food service you typically find on Brasilian beaches and the sand is nice. Go early because as the day progresses the motor boat taxis come and go dropping ever more people. Then you have the big "party boats" anchoring close to shore for the passengers... More

We went there at 9 in the morning. Thats the best time cause not so many people are there yet. The water is clear and shallow. Good for swimming. Children enjoy there.

One of my favorite Buzios beach, walking distance from Rua das Pedras and perfect to relax. Prefer during week days when the beach is empty!

The view is amazing during sunset, and it is possible to climb the rocks and watch the sunset from above.

I went here in the afternoon, and about 16pm a girl on boat came rowing, and started selling caipirihnas. Perfect way to relax in a perfect place. The beach is small, but away from main tourist places, so you can really enjoy the water.

More of a patch of brown sand, maybe I missed something but I'd suggest visiting the larger beaches in Buzios with more amenities close by. Generally the beaches in Buzios are a bit more 'rustic' so don't expect for example, Ipanema beach.

Reviews of beaches can be deceiving without knowing the background of the reviewer. It really depends what type of tourist you are and how frequent you go to the beach. We are a young couple (29yrs) and live in Sydney and have traveled to many countries for their beaches. Our definition of a good beach is a nice quiet, clean... More

this is a nice beach, it has a pronnounced bay that creats atractive wave free watters. The problem is the that the sand stripp is very narrow and the bay is small. Because it lays in walking distance from Armação (the center of Buzios) via "praia dos ossos" (you juyst take the walking path at the end of Osssos) it... More

Loved this beach, worth the long walk, take food as only drinks are available. Easy swimming due to the shallow waters.

It is a small beach in the centre of Buzios. The sunsets in this beach are wonderful. It is full of people so go at 5 p.m. and stay up to 7 p.m.
