this is by far the best beach in Buzios, white sand, warm blue sea, a small piece of land with access as long as I heard, from the sea, from the Colonna Park Hotel or through a deep reinforest that reaches the beach. Naturally hidden from civilization, is the best beach to relax and enjoy the simple things in life,... More

a small side beach next to João Fernandes, famous for the golden/copperish fine sand, is a bit too full with the youngsters playing ball, rackets, flying, loud music, chairs going into the water ... used to be a paradise in the 20th century !!

We visited this place on a wednesday early in the morning. We wanted to find a beach thats perfect for us. We walked along Joao Fernandes which was quite crowded and at the end there was a set of rocks, we braved the climb through crab territory. There are planks in the tricky places which which eased the route. The... More

We took a 10 Reals water-taxi to this beach on a Tuesday during the busy season and had the best time! We were greeted right away and seated with two chairs and an umbrella fairly close to the beach. It was a little busy in the morning, but everyone cleared out at noon to go to other beaches. It was... More

This one is surrounded by excellent guesthouses and hotels and with some very good restaurants with its tables right on the sand near sho=re where one can order drinks and fingerfoods right there, with the water reaching your feet.

The beach is beautiful and the water clear and warm. It is the sort of beach you go to if you want loud music and watersports... not for me but ideal for young people

This is an easy beach to sit and spend a few hours if you don't mind crowds. Ordering a drink will get you some chairs and an umbrella and usually there's no pressure to keep buying more drinks. Lots of people watching, wading in the water and seeing an occasional tour boat go by. A fine relaxing afternoon for Buzios.
