We were lucky to be there when it was not crowded at all. There are no waves. It felt like being in a private beach that looks like a swimming pool. My preferred beach in buzios. On the way back, we even enjoyed live reggea music.

This beach is very crowded in season period but the water is lovely fresh like the ocean is. Tha sand is nothing special.

Too busy. I thought there were many other cleaner & less populated beaches in Buzios. Numerous food restaurants but really none with a restaurant on the beach. They would take your order & deliver which was great service but sometimes difficult when you're crammed in on the beach. I would prefer Rocka Fish restaurant with a smaller but less populated... Lots of fun water sports, waterski, banana boats, SUP but cold water and not much beach space. Was too windy the day we went with chairs blowing away.

It was very very crowded when we visited it. Sea water is crystal, however freezing. It's possible to climb the rocks and observe fish around the beach. There are only 2 beach bars. They charge you 30 reais for rent an umbrella and 2 chairs. What's is the average price in Buzios. However, the staff can be a bit annoying... More

This beach is in a natural cove and doesn't have big waves. My child was able to play in the water while we watched from a chair. At other beaches he gets into the waves to the point that someone has to stay in the water right by him to supervise. The beach had chairs to rent and some limited... More

Only problem was lack of toilet facilities, just a couple of porta potties at one end. But chair/umbrella rentals are only about $12 for a day.

Very relaxing, hidden little beach close to Geriba. Ask the locals for the little passageway to get to Ferradurinha from Geriba that way you wont have to walk in circles! ;)
