Used to be one of the loveliest spot near Recife, now over developed including some very ugly structure. The port view at the background doesn't help much either.

We took a quick walk on the beach, lot of rubbish spoiled the view. people can bath in the warm water, but honestly we were not tempted. the view of the industrial plant nearby is disturbing. it is not possible to walk in the beach ithout having to pass through the tables ad parasol. Water is great - calm (due to reef protection) and warm. Barraca da Ana is terrible - worst service ever. Slow.

the beach is high end, villas and rich houses. The beach is very beautiful itself

This is a quiet beach with activities like canoeing and jet-ski. Worths a visit!
