Just watch the tide table and go there when it is low (obvious). You will see a lot of different species of fish and a beautiful coral :)

A nice place for shallow diver's and snorkelers... (grandma is welcome too...!) If you're looking for crystalline waters you better look elsewhere. Still it really worth's the visit as the raft ride is great to take your kids and family. If you have poor swimmers on your group, its smooth and safe to bring them along.
Swimming with the fish (all the same colour and type). Sea water is amazing in term of temperature and very salty.
An amazing variety of fishes at the pools. Very beautiful view! To go Porto de Galinhas and not go to the Pools is like to go Rome and not see the Pope! Go - it´s really great!

You can see a lot of fishes and corals. It's a explosion of colors
It seemed a tad pricey for BRL$15, but I enjoyed feeding the fish and checking out the reef a little. You could probably swim out there, but taking a boat makes it easier to take a camera. Make sure to have flip flops.
You can walk there ... dont have to take a Jangada. Pools are so full of tourists - only one type of fish and water not clear at all.
