A very beautiful lake

Great place to rest or to work out. It is an artificial lake projected by the civil engineer José Augusto Queiroz. The gardening landscape was created by Burle Marx.

After living in Londrina for about a year and a half, I can definitely say that the most beautiful place in the city is Igapo (in my opinion). The water itself is gross - you can't swim in it. A lovely place for long walks ou jogging, with some basic gym equipment (kind of eco-friendly). Enjoy it only during the day. It.s not safe at night.

The lake is big enough for a few hour of calm and romantic walk. Some days there are sugar cane juice stands close by. Here youll get a refreshing local bevrage made of sugar canes and a peace of lemon. In short: its worth a visit! A sunday trip perhaps :)

Its a very nice trip to walk arround this lake. On the way youll met a few joggers in the summer. And there will probable be a few cars that makes this Sugar-cane-juice. Its sweet, but also very good after a long waem walk!
