This was on my Bucket List for years. no one managed to explain that the Area had been in Drought... a mere 400,00 cubic feet per sec. of water coming over the Falls...as opposed to 4,000,000. Still spectacular !. Visit whenever you can.
If you like Rainbows, this is your place! Visited both sides of the Falls (i.e. Brazil &...

Early morning is best on the brasilian side, as the sun gives superb light for your photos.
Not cheap though !!

I don't think I need to add much more to what everyone's been saying - the falls are just magnificent - quite some natural wonders. It was one of the highlights of our trip. A tip though: if you want to get a bit wet and go under the falls, do this on the Argentina side (you'll find the ticket...

We added a 2 day, 1 night trip to Iguazu Falls before boarding a cruise in Buenos Aires. While we saw many spectacular sights during our month in Argentina and Chile, Iguazu was by far the most spectacular. In fact, our son stayed for an extra 2 months of backpacking all over South America and had many wonderful adventures, and...

With over 2.7Km of falls in an area of natural beauty, what isn't to like?
The falls cover both Brazil and Argentina and you need to see the falls from both sides to really experience them fully.
Wonderful national parks, great friendly staff, very safe and secure.
Great for trekking / rafting / boating / climbing / just sight seeing.
