Beautiful location with many nature trails where you find bars, restaurants and inns. There are several beaches for all kinds of leisure as diving, surfing, swimming and sailing.

We spent a wonderful time vacationing on Ilha do Mel (Honey Island) in Brazil. The island is certainly a tropical paradise, with no cars allowed, it houses beautiful beaches, mountains, cliffs, natural wildlife, along with scenic pathways of floras and foliage. The best place to stay on Ilha do Mel was the Pousada Praia do Farol. There, you can get... More

Nice Ecological Reserve, all the trails in the Island make you walk along sand paths, around beautiful trees and observing the natural wild life. No cars allowed, creates a peaceful environment. You have many different beaches for surf, swimming, SUP and fishing.

I visited the Honey Island several years ago, but I thought I'd write a review since this is a very unique place very different from anything I've have ever visited! The island has no cars and roads, just little paths throughout the island. The restaurants and accommodation are quite simple, but very nice and each part of the island has... More

This is a very special get away . . .no cars and little paths throughout a cottage filled island. The pousadas are lovely and each part of the island has a beach with its own character. A mere 2 hour drive from Curitiba followed by a 20 minute boat ride. Once on the island, you've escaped to tranquility!

Restaurants on the island are pretty average... if you are on a... More
