This island is quiet small but lovely. A great place to relax and enjoy the fact that cars are not allowed here! Locals are friendly and I felt really safe during my visit. Entertain yourself with long walks under the trees, and admire the variety of unique birds watching you pass by. The huge lizards are also around...but our best... More

You can only access this island by boat and the number of visitors per day is limited so it is never crowded. No cars are allowed in the island so you get around by walking or riding a bike. The ocean side of the island has some great beaches for surfing and swimming. The harbor side of the island is... More

The island offers good options for people that want calm beaches in the high season and for those who seek services in the sand while drinking something. It is almost flat everywhere, favoring small trekkings to other beachs. It is even possible to circumvent the island, but it is imperative to check with locals first if the tide allows crossing... For those who appreciate being close to nature, it is a must. Access by boat, you find many bed&breakfasts to stay in on a price range from R$100 to 500 per day, you can find great seafood restaurants as well. Sights are amazing at both Brazilia and Encantadas, which are two separate parts of the island and the access to... More

I recommend spend a day in this island, it has a very simple infrastructure but you don't need more to spend your day to enjoy the nature

We enjoyed our two days on the island. We walked from Encantadas to Farol das Conchas to Fortaleza to Brasilia and back. It was about 18 km of total walking. The beach walk was easy. Some of the hill climbs were more challenging mostly because the trail was steep and eroded. So wear good shoes. There are also a couple... More

Honey Island is an incredible place. No cars are allowed on the island so be prepared to walk, but even the walks are stunning. You follow these small, sandy paths from beach to beach. Due to it's location and lack of accessibility (there's a ferry), the beaches never get too crowded. In the summertime this is great because you don't... More
