Good place to visit, but dont expect anything special. A lot of shops, a nice sunset, and drinks overpriced.

Speechless! Something spectacular! Just take a trip on the boat, have a couple of drinks, snacks, lots of pictures, and the best of all, listen to Ravel's Bolero while watching the sunset on the river! Oh! Terrific! I will be there again and again every chance I have to go to Paraiba, Brazil!

Watching the subset listening to ravel's Bolero is something spectacular! You may stay at the restaurant paying to sit and watch or simply stay outside close to the lake and also watch for free.

This is the place with one of the most beautiful atmosphere I ever being. Drink a wine or a beer on the deck with your girlfriend hearing the guy playing saxophone and seeing the sunset, it's incredible.

Local tradition of watching the sunset over a river (not a real "beach") while eating and drinking with friends and family while a lone saxophone player says goodbye to the sun by playing a Ravel bolero. I can't imagine Joao Pessoa without this fun tradition. It's a bit outside the main city and potentially a bit raucus pre-sunset, but fun.... More

I think that sunset in Jacare is something to remember. Eating or drinking in some fine restaurant (cheap and excellent food) while hearing Ravel's Bolero, is a must. You can also find some handcraft to buy in small stores.

I can't understand why or how this turned into possibly João Pessoa's top tourist attraction. Really. Sunset is splendorous, indeed, but you don't need to sit at one of the local bars nor listen to Jurandhy's rendition of Ravel's Bolero to enjoy it. Actually, if you just walk past the bars and into the handicraft market you will find yourself... More

You see the sunset in the river with a excellent music has been playing. It's a place cheap, just the parking tax, and you can find restaurants, souveniers stores and hand craft things. I recommend.
