This is a very typical and beautiful spot. You can shop there (and buy recycled clothes - quality is incredible!), have a nice meal, taste some excellent amazonian ice cream flavors and see some amazing cultural shows. The restaurant Amazon beer is also located here!

Estação das Docas in Belém, Pará - Brazil is amazing place. Part of that port warehouses have been converted into Tourism Place, with bars, restaurants, bookstore, crafts shops and services, the place is beautiful and well located. Facing the river that bathes the city. Is worth including in your visits script. But unfortunately the local is very expensive but you... More

The Kilo restaurants are expensive but totally worth it. There is also Cupuacu ice-cream and Maracuja Pudim. Safe and beautifully located by the riverfront. Also the air-con makes it a refreshing stop off point after the sweltering nearby Ver-o-peso market.

Lovely brewery at the end of the docks, try the witbeir was our favourite. The Stout is nicer on draught than in a bottle.

Great Food and wonderful atmosphere. At night they have live music where you can enjoy 80's Rock to typical Brazilian music. The area is safe and secure. I was under the impression that a lot of local hang out here besides just tourist mainly because of the variety of food available in the many restaurants.

We visited this place twice on a recent short stay in Belem and on both occasions ate in "Amazon Beer" where they served excellent beers made on the premises. We opted for their 'specialities to accompany your beer' (Especialidades para acompanhar sua cerveja) which were probably the best food of this type we had during our month long stay in... More

A wonderful place for dinner or lunch. It is the old docks and warehouses. They have been updated to hold restaurants, shops and stages. There is live music in the evening. The stage is suspended and moves along the top of the warehouse. There is an ice cream place that has ice cream made from many of the local tropical... More
