Visit on a regular day to check on the museum and calmly visit the stadium, but return on a game day to see the crowd pushing our home team, Cruzeiro toward another great title! :D And have a beer while watching the game, but eat the "Feijão Tropeiro" meal or a "Churrasquinho" (small barbecue stick) outside the stadium, in one... The locals love their futbol/football/soccer - and they are very proud of this stadium that was renovated for the World Cup in 2014. We were lucky to have a private tour of the facility by the engineer who supervised the upgrades. Every nook and cranny is spectacular. The stadium is an historic site so great care in the upgrades were... More

In my opinion, it is just like any other soccer stadium... so nothing much to see or do there. But in the surroundings, there is the lake of Pampulha and lots of architectural landmarks like Igreja de São Francisco and Museu de Arte da Pampulha, etc

You should take the chance to visit the museum as well as the stadium itself. The stadium is very popular, and apparently always packed full during game days, and is not very far from the main city neighborhoods.

I went here for a group stage match during the 2014 World Cup. I had a great time here with this beautiful stadium, the facilities are modern and clean. I would love to come back to this stadium.

The renovated stadium is part of a beautiful architectural site and is in excellent conditions. It is the home stadium of the Brazilian Soccer Champion team - Cruzeiro.

The stadium is HUGE, and when there are no games the locals use them as roller blade courts so bring yours if you want to do some exercise. The museum (as July 2014) wasn't functioning, make sure to assure if it is open when you go there

The stadium looks amazing! Everything working perfectly. Even the bathrooms was clean! No big lines to buy soft drinks or food. Very organized to get into the stadium.

It has easy acess and it doesnt matter the location you buy, you can appreciate all the court and enjoy the game. restrooms in good condition and perfectly clean, the fan zone... More
