This is a very different church to the normal ones you'll find. Especially the many in Ouro Preto. It's much more modern in style and has some great art work around it. It's also situated in a nice location by the lagoon with lots of greenery around and just a stones throw from the stadium.

Niemeyer´s masterpieces are spread out in Belo Horizonte, specially in Pampulha. This little church is a wonderful construction, in front of the laguna and its beauty and simplicity are remarkable.
