This is one of the most interesting experience you can live in Belo Horizonte!!! You can buy fruits, vegetables, cheese, and desserts tipycal from Brazil (as "doce de leite" e "goiabada" - you mut try both of them). You can find just about anything here. There are lots of foods, gifts, cheese, meats. It's flea market style and isn't for everyone but it is definitely a must see.

We were there with local friends to buy the ingredients for the famous Brazilian bean dish - feijoada. While food is a focus, there is also a handicraft area, housewares and sugar cane liquor stalls.
