We spent 5 days in Puival Lodge at the end of the wet season booked through Travel Innovations and the local company Natureco. We were there long enough to experience horse riding ,boating on the river ,night drives and nature walks. You are guaranteed to see lots of birds ,other animals are more elusive and need a bit of searching... More

We stayed here for 3 days and had an awesome time. There are so many wild animals to spot, from caymans to capivaras, king fisher birds or caipiranhas. despite wild life spotting you can go horse riding, fishing or just go for a nice drive along the transpantaneira, you will even see animals there. its one of those places you... A great way to get away from city life and experience this unique ecological wetlands system which is teeming with wildlife. We loved the hiking, horseriding and canoeing, which enabled us to take things at a steady pace and experience nature at first hand. More

We recently toured the Northern Pantanal wetlands with a private guide, Fisher Souza (fisherpantanal@yahoo.com.br). Our trip was organised via email and the internet. Naturally we were a little nervous as we had paid money in advance to book lodges and Fisher came recommended by another guide who we had never met and who we learnt of through the internet. What...
