We have really loved it even if the sun was not entering. Apparently if you want to see the sun inside, as you usually see in the pics, you should go between the 15th of November and the 15th of January between 8am and 9am. And for this you have to book in advance. I wouldn't stress out though, it... More

Worth visiting. It only lasts a couple of hours but is much cheaper than the other Bonito tours (45 brl - about 11.50). The cave formation is really interesting to look at (at least for me who hasnt seen any caves before) and the water incredibly blue, it gets bluer as you get closer to it. The guide had a... More

This s a beautiful place not to be missed when visiting Bonito! It is a cave with a blue lake and it is wonderful. The access is by stairs but not very difficult to go down and up.

I'm afraid this was a dreadful experience. We have been to many caves, caverns, grottos before (New Zealand, France, England, America) and compared to any of those, this was simply awful. However, the Brazilians in our group loved it - never having been to such a grotto before. Our Pousada in Bonito had prebooked it, and organised a taxi (takes... More

Beautiful and Cheap This is one of the must-see attractions in Bonito. It is extremely beautiful, probably like nothing you’ve ever seen. The lagoon at the bottom is of a vivid blue colour even though it’s 56m underground – the sunrays deflected on the rocks ensure that, even without direct sunlight. Very pretty. This is one of the few attractions... More

a great outing but be prepared for a lot of Brazilians to join you on a tour. English is not so widely spoken but the cave is awesome.

I thought this was a great cave. The only problem is it is VERY slippery when it is wet. The best time to go is in the morning when the sun hits the blue lake. Ask your tourist agency if they can arrange the right time for you to see that.

The lake is really blue and wonderful. Take your own photos, otherwise you'll pay too much for each copy of those ones taken by the guide.
