Worth seeing if you have not seen that many caves, but in the end it's just a cave with a pool of water in the bottom!

Blue Lake Grotto is a gorgeous place. Attention for downhill access due to some slippery rocks. Do not recommend the visit for infants or children under 12 years old. Some parts on the way down are equipped with rails what is safer. Be patience on the path to access the cave as it may around 30km through beautiful farms. All... More

You have to pay a lot but you don't see a lot. It takes soooo long to go downstairs, because the guides are going so slow. You have to wait for people who comes up again. The water is nice, but, it's not spectaculair. Very disappointing!

The cave and its huge blue lake are really gorgeus. But tourists are not allowed inside the cave and must see it from a built plataform. This makes the visit somewhat dull to anyone who has been inside a cave.

Prepare your camera and get ready to take tons of pictures. This place sounds like 1.000.000 years ago.

This is a wonderfull attraction in Bonito, and economical. The price is R$ 45 in both the low and holiday periods. Our agency, Pantanal Expeditions, arranged not only an English-speaking guide for us, but also, as my husband is a photographer, arranged our visit for early afternoon, the best part of the day for seeing the cave. This is an... More

As a local i'm proud to say the water always surprises me. I've had great experiencias at the cave. It's very safe and the guides are all very well prepared to answer questions.

The place is amazing, but you must be in a hurry cause there is another group coming... so you don't have your own time to enjoy the place... not good!

Our tour of Gruta do Lago Azul was at the end of the guided tour period, so we were the last tour that afternoon. Our guide, Martins, spoke English, in addition to Portuguese, so we were able to follow what he was saying on the way down. [Martins was also our guide during the Rio da Prata snorkeling tour]. Because... More
