This is quite a nice small place but I was expecting a much better experience. The company are very strict about safety which is very good and you get kitted up with a helmet and you aren't allowed to carry anything in your hands so that you can use them to steady yourself if you need to. There are quite... More

The grotto is 30min of Bonito. Then there are the groups and the guide gives safety instructions (only PT). Then you walk the 10 min to the entrance. And then climbed down the stairs to the blue lake. But on the way you have to stop a couple of times to let the other groups come back. On this way... More

We were told we were in luck as our guide spoke english; however, when the tour started the guide told us he wouldn't have the time to do any of the tour in English. We then descended halfway into the cave before stopping for a painfully boring 20 minutes spent standing on a staircase being talked at in portuguese, with... More

Beautiful blue lake in a massive cave. As it's the symbol of Bonito it's definitely worth visiting but don't expect to do much other than simply look at the lake and take pictures.

A natural Cathedral. This is the feeling I had when I entered this cave. And I have been ther twice. The silente, cool are, diferente rock forms and the blue water, bring you a inner Peace which is incredible.

This is a very popular attraction and in the high season it's fully booked. Guided groups are taken in turn down the steps to the cave to marvel the blue waters of the lake. It's one of Bonito's must see sights.

Was amazing! The cavern is incredible, the water inside is too blue and transparent. For see the lake you need walk for a trail for few minutes, but the walking it's easy and slow. I recommend to visit in Bonito - MS. You will not regret.

Good trip and the cave was very beautiful, but the trip was a walk to the cave, view it for 20 minutes and then walk back again. Not sure this was particularly good value for money, but was nice to see none the less

It is beautiful for sure! but for me wasnt that great because Ive been in so many caves and lakes...If you intend to go to Bonito make sure you rent a car cause you can get all around easily and you wont depend on shuttle tours! Some of them get too much time to came and go!
