Hard to climb back, but from the moment you arrive in the cave, the silence, the light falling on the lake, the beauty and the guides that are already in place, make this visit: a unique and unforgettable moment in your life!

What a beautiful place to see and super fun thing to do! Had so much fun doing the rapel! Although it is hard if you have no upper body strength it is an experience none the less. Met some awesome people whilst we were there! Everyone is super friendly and love to joke around like true Brazilians :)

This place was my favorite experience in Bonito... the canyoneering is so exciting, with a amazing view... the view in the dive is spectacular, like a dive in a full moon.. go up is exhaustive, but it´s worth... the only bad thing is the price, sooo expensive, abusive price...

Many review points to the fact that there is a lot to wait ... And it is true. You need to be in the right spirit and be prepared to have long wait times given there are only 2 ropes that bring you up and down. You need to be fit for the rise and bring long thick socks, more... More

Exciting adventure into a cave of stalagmites and stalactites. The visibility in the lake is staggering. Training * Required the day before (or earlier) - nice to see equipment and practice techniques beforehand * Staff speak limited English but friendly and professional * Walk down the main street in Bonito, turn left at R. Gen. Osorio and the centre is... More

We had a tour in the cave today. It is a beautiful place when the sun hits the water, which it does between 10.00 and 13.00 this time a year. We were however told that the trip with Abismo going rappelling would only take around 3-4 hours - we spent around 7 hours in the cave!!!! We started the tour... More

Two days ago I found out about Abismo and read amazing reviews in their folders (by some famous Brazilian magazines) and consequently on Lonelyplanet. I went to the Tour Agency of my hotel and decided that I really wanted to get two passes (around 450 US dollars in total) as a gift for my girlfriend’s birthday. The Tour-agent in front... More

Ok, this activity is quite expensive compared to the other ones in Bonito, but it's so worth it!!! The staff is very professional and the rappel and the cave are amazing once-in-a-lifetime experiences!!!

It is amazing! An experience for life but also for few. The crew at the trainning center in town is not so friendly as one would expect for Bonito. By the other hand, the staff at the Abismo is precious. So, dont lose your enthusiasm at the trainning experience as the visit itself will worth everything. If you are not... More

Amazing place, terrible crew (Abismo Anhumas). Despite of the poor crap quality of the people who organize it, be sure to enjoy an amazing view and trip. They have no notion of order, respect or compromise to what you may have booked. Be sure to double or even tri-check what you have paied for, because they are able to make... More
