Great tour guide, who taught us much about the wildlife - not just about the macau's. English speaking too.

A guide named Pierdo greeted us as we arrived. We filled out the visitor log and then the introduction to the tour started with looking at their safety management system. It seems there is a standardized safety plan for Brazil, which displays common risks, their danger levels, and ways to mitigate the risks. All risks were 1 on a 1-4... More

Very interesting sink hole in which dozens of macaws have made their home. The noise they make is wonderful to hear!

Need I say more? This was well worth it. Don't miss it. We saw lots of araras. But this is not guaranteed, of course.

A very interesting thing to do in Bonito’s region. It is important the tourists keep on mind that Arara’s hollow not located in Bonito’s county. Hence, tourists may drive around 90km from Bonito’s area – nearly 1:30 – so as to get there. Yet – it’s very important to highlight that is not assure to see those birds. When you... More

There were no Macaws at the cave/ hole as they leave in the morning to go and forage and only return in the early evening . The tours should let the public know they will be paying to look at a hole with no macaws , and at least they can choose to come at a different time . The... More

If you're a bird lover this is a great location to go to and it is definitely worth the visit. I suggest get there early morning or evening leaving enough time before the sun goes down to see the macaws. Brazil has many great sites to see macaws and this is one of them.

it is a nice place and you definitely see some of the nice aras. what I don't like about it that bonito is organised like a mafia cause everything is in private hands and so you have to pay a lot to see the things and can not do it by yourself. anyway if you have the money it is... More

It is simply a walk around a but sinkhole, but the scenery is spectacular. The macaws are everywhere and it is definitely quite inspiriting to see them flying around. Tip: try to go early in the morning or late in the afternoon - during high noon, it is too hot and neither the macaws nor us what to be under... More
