I came here for a day trip from Bonito while travelling through on an Intrepid tour. The hotel kindly booked a car transfer (R$136) for us from Bonito to Rio da Prata (we stopped at the sinkhole on the way to view macaws in the wild, I also highly recommend this!!). The diving was well organised with an English speaking... More

Rio da Prata is like swimming in an aquarium. The area is protected from fishing and pollution, and guests are even prohibited from wearing sunscreen or bug spray, in order to preserve the clean water. The visibility is insane and the river is teeming with small and large fish. Highly recommend.

Sure, it's not cheap but then nothing is in Bonito. Rio da Prata is definitely worth every penny. I've done this tour several times going along with tourist groups I was guiding through Brasil. You walk 30 minutes through the forest and then float for about 2 hours in the cristal clear water. Most times you'll be able to spot... More

This tour was my absolutely most favorite in Bonito as snorkeling experience is just too great than anywhere else in Bonito. Though all Bonito snorkeling is great but this one was best.

For many years I have been visiting the Rio da Prata and everytime again I'm totally convinced by the quality of the overall experience. Allthough hundreds of people visit the river you never feel the crowd. The managment does an excellent job in keeping small groups sepparated from each other. And there's much more than just the river and it's... More

In Bonito all activities are very expensive and this one is also a little expensive. As I had never been in a river with crystal water as Rio Prata I enjoyed a lot this experience. You spend about 2 hours and half in the activity and you can see a lot of fishes swimming next to you. I don't have... More

A must if you go to Bonito. A bit pricey, but service, facilities and guides are top notch. Flotation in Rio Prata must be the first in the list, and Lagoa Misteriosa is also nice for diving lovers. Don´t miss it!

At first I was a little unsure due to increased cost of what is now $240 Reais. It was an amazing experience that you won't find elsewhere easily. The company has some important rules on the dos and donts to preserve the environment which was appreciated. I would recommend this crystal clear blue oasis with a range of fish species.... More

I stayed in the place walking around and seeing the projects they have to recycle garbage. Very interesting place and great lunch with ingredients from the same farm. The only down side was that they don't speak English too much and my husband and I don't speak too much Portuguese. Otherwise we had a nice time there.

Great experience - company is concerned about best environmental practices & provide great experience - clean neoprene clothes and rubber boots were provided, great walk to the river, knowledgeable and friendly tour guide (Joao), good food and amazing floating amongst big (yes, big) fishes...
