Open house for prospective students. Nice presentation, good food, and beautiful campus. Worth vising if you are looking for a smaller school in the mid-west.

Had a fantastic fall day here. Everything was well planned and students could choose how to spend their day, be it sitting in on a class, attending a presentation or going on a tour. The conservatory was simply stunning and our musical inclined daughter was super impressed with the caliber of the program available. No final decision because we still... More

We enjoyed a brief stroll around the campus of this small university which was loaded with colorful trees. Don't miss the views of the Fox River from the campus.

OK, so we're biased in giving Lawrence University top marks in this review. We spent two full days getting to know the campus and staff and came away convinced that this a really beautiful, top-notch university. Our daughter, on the other hand, stayed behind to get involved in a week of freshman activities and to begin her studies. Well done,... More

This campus is picture perfect, compact enough for walking, and filled with charming old buildings as well as newer architectural gems. There is a good art center, a chapel that boasts great acoustics for meetings and concerts, and a music and drama center auditorium. Many of the events held here are free and open to the public. I Just returned... More

Pretty campus and nice buildings of a very small school. Located in a mid-sized town. Not much going on at the school on a regular basis as it is so small. Not a real lot to take in, but worth strolling the campus and riverfront. Nice little football stadium , convenient to downtown and campus.

very nice setting in downtown Appleton - close to the action. Park like atmosphere with the downtown vibe.

When visiting Appleton my travel companion and I decided to visit the university - in part prompted by the good reviews. We visited and thoroughly enjoyed the morning simply leisurely walking around the grounds. Overall this university is well worth a visit with a number of impressive buildings and places to take photos of the surrounding area including the Paper... More

Whether you are on the college tour circuit or just visiting Appleton on business or pleasure (I've been to the city for both reasons), Lawrence University is a must stop. One of America's great liberal arts colleges, the campus is beautiful with plenty of great architecture old and new, plus lots of public art.
