There is a large playground area and several smaller ones. The park is big and includes a botanical garden area. There's also a pond with a deck. You are allowed to fish, but no swimming in it. There's an archery range, lots of baseball fields, a tennis court and Appleton Ice Center.

A spacious walk with butterfly garden and the Scheig center on one side and large hill with sledding area on the other. During summer this place must look absolutely stunning, as it was late winter we only managed to enjoy the snow covered trees on our walk around and hanging around the garden. With this in mind, it was still... More

The fireworks are fantastic! My family has been coming here since I was a little girl. Then, I brought my kids & now I am bringing my grandchildren.

Memorial Park offers a great firework display over the 4th of July. I love how this park is clean and well-kept. It makes for a great place to go and relax or even hang out with friends. Big, spacious park!

This is a very good park having plenty of play areas, good to walk and have a picnic with family and friends. I visited once in July and had a good time there.

Residents of the Fox Valley are fortunate to have such a large and beautiful park close to home. Two weeks ago my daughter had her senior pictures taken there and we could not have asked for a more beautiful and peaceful setting. The photos were gorgeous and we all had such a lovely time!

This is a decent park that has a very nice playground, baseball diamonds, and winter sports center. The gardens (in early August) were okay, but nothing special. The main building by the garden center was closed on a weekday as were all the toilets (padlocked) except for a porta-potty near "Marvin's Garden". Porta-potty was spotless, so no real complaints there.... More

This is an excellent, large park in Appleton. Lots of grass and wide open spaces. Sail your toy boats in the lagoon, or play tennis on one of their courts. There is a miracle baseball diamond and playground that accommodates disabled children. Indoor skating rink. Great gardens. Movies on the hill. Nice pavilion for gatherings. Archery also. There is something... More
