Perfect for Parents and Kids

This place is great for kids to get away and explore while parents get to see their children having fun and learning at the same time.

We were visiting family and decided to spend the morning here...it was soooo much fun! Our 7 and 4 year old had a blast! So many things to do, kept them busy for hours!

I think the Building For Kids needs to visit other cities and get someinspiration from other kids' museums. We've taken our kids to lots of other museums and would rather pay more for a more submersive experience that varies visit to visit.

The Building for Kids offers a large variety of activities for families of young children. Plan on staying a few hours if your kids have the stamina...there are plenty of things to do and a lot of space so it doesn't feel cramped like other children's museums. We prefer to go after lunch since it's typically less crowded. Also, visit... More

I love TBFK, However we don't get there too often because admission hovers around 7-8 dollars. Which is fine to pay for my daughter to enjoy herself in a safe, fun and educational environment, but that isn't per child it's per PERSON. So if her dad and I want to bring her together we are dropping $24 just to get... More

We had been here YEARS ago but were recently back in town so we stopped in for a couple visits during our week long stay in the area. Our kids ages 4-14 all managed to find something to do for a couple hours. The treehouse was a hit - nice to have some active play inside on a hot day.... More

Great place to take the kids; we have been members for 2 years and even had a birthday party there. Best for the 8 years and under crowd - it is big enough for a few hour trip and has some interesting interactive exhibits

Lots of activities for kids of all ages. Great for learning, exploring, and fun. They have a fantastic Halloween program and events throughout the year. Admission is a little pricey so my family of 5 doesn't make it a daily stop in the summer, but we go on occasion. Probably 4x a year.

We brought our one year old here! He loved the toddler area and the water play area the best! It's definitely a place I will take him as he gets older too because there is so many fun things to do!

We visited in November 2014 and our kids had a blast! Our kids were almost 4 years old and 10 months old at the time and they didn't want to leave... even after being there for 3+ hours. We will definitely be back and would recommend this to anyone looking to keep their kids entertained!
