This is a favorite place to take my daughter. It's big enough to allow plenty of space for each activity yet not so huge that you worry about losing your child. We really enjoy the art & drama area & spend a lot of time painting & playing make-believe. Also the mini stores & doll daycare on the first floor... More

We took our 6 year old daughter here while on vacation and it was really great! There are plenty of fun and educational activities to do. The staff was very friendly and helpful. And at only $7.50 to get in its a great value.

My kids had such a great time at this location. They loved being able to paint as well as the water exhibit. There is a giant tree house to climb around. Another favorite was the room that had the balls in it through the air tubes, however, it seemed to not be working that well. My only complaint is the... More

We took our two year old here and he loved it so much we bought a family pass. We bring him when we need something for him to do and he can just run around and play. He really likes the painting area and the ball and air tube area. Always having a good time at the building for kids.

The Building for Kids is such a great Appleton attraction. Adults can enjoy taking their children, etc. here. It is safe, well-cleaned and a relatively cheap attraction. A must try - the kids (ok and adults) have so much fun!

We took our 4-year old son and 1-year old there. We had fun, but were disappointed with the quality of the exhibits. They look great at first glance. My son got so excited before he started playing in each one, but after a few minutes he was bored because so many things were either missing from the exhibit or broken.... More

Nice place for kids ages 3-10 or so. Art and craft areas, Pierce fire truck display, Gulfstream airplane display, lots of other things for kids to do for several hours.

An FYI, if you visit M-F and come at 3pm you can save $2 on admission. That is what we decided to do. Glad we did because 2 hours was plenty of time to explore the museum. There isn't a whole lot on the first floor. The little Kwik Trip shop was a little disappointing because no one was supervising... More

My mother in law and I took my four kids ages 1, 3, 5 and 6 for an afternoon. My kids had tons of fun! There are so many great activities for them! We started in the art center and there was painting, sand, play doh, a play kitchen, books and many other things to do! They had a few... More

This is an excellent place to bring your children for fun and exercise. Especially in Wisconsin with the long cold winters. This lets families have a place to play and stay warm.
