The beach is replete of algae and you have to walk kms to take a bath. The rest of the beaches are far nicer. Check the winds, winds are best from July to December. There is also a kite surfing course for kids in July-August

It was love at first sight, the beach is perfect for kite surf it's a very secluded aerea, close enough to Jeri for partying time and far enough to take it easy, sport, hang around with the locals, me and my partner ended up buying a property there! We <3 Prea!

Prea Beach was remote and extensive. Great kiting off the hotel. The cars were a bit distracting sometimes.

Great Kite-surfing beach with plenty of wind, surf and sand. It's a no brainer. Few accommodations keeps this beach off the Gringo trail.

Prea it self is a bit like a ghost town. However if you stick to the resorts it can be quite nice. The beach is beautiful, and the beach is very windy. I cannot say that this is the best windsurf / kitesurf beach Brasil has to offer. But if your traveling down the coast it is nice enough too... More

That's all you have...and then kitesurfers...you feel like you are in the middle of the wild, alone and it is GREAT! Prea is so typical of the Nordeste, you LOVE it or you hate it but you will never remain untouched by the bare and beautiful landscape...especially at sunset

I don´t think after been in jericoacoara is a big deal go to praia do prea.

If your kite surfer get yourself to Prea. It is quiet with great winds every single day. You cant sunbathe as the wind becomes unbearable but you can hang at Pousada Rancho do Peixe.
