Jericoacoara is one of the paradises from Brazil. The village is stunning and the evenings are magic... it is a total retreat to anyone who is looking for a piece of dream on land.

The city beach! A lot of movement of people and the beach as it has to be: very democratic! Beautiful sunset. A little too buggies movement and can cause danger to small children. It should be prohibited from car traffic on the beach.

In the morning, the far away and at the end of the day, get closer. The tourist litter the beach, so sometimes it's clean, others not. The beach is not beatifull. It's more for kitesurfing and windsurfing. Jeri is all about the lakes

Although not easy to get it, it is worth every effort. It is so huge there is something for everyone. From the most southern point you have the windsurfers, then you approach the busy section with plentiful shops bar kiosks and restaurants. As you move further north there are the horse rides and sunset dune and then keep walking for... More

Definitely a lovely place to go. Just read all the reviews. Quite expensive though. Expect to pay at least double vs other places between Jeri and Fortaleza. And a big warning: between x-mas and new year's eve they build up an outdoor discotheque upwind from the town blaring so loud only Brazilians can do so early sleep is out if... More

This is the place where you can almost hear a cumbaya when the sun sets. A literal crowd marches up the dune as the sun sets, and for that moment, everyone is "one". The sunset is incredible over the Atlantic. Watch for the "green flash"!

The beach at westside has shallow waters for 1 km offshore. The waves can be high but break in very shallow water close to the beach. This makes Windsurfing and Stand up Paddel possibel, for which you can hire the equipment at the beach ( 70 R per hour). Kitesurfers are not at the same spot.

It doesn't matter what man did to this place to make it touristy. Feel the strength of Nature and how small you are in comparison to Jeri's beauty. Forget the horse poop at the beach and the locals selling you their handcraft. The beauty of this place will still win your soul. I will come back, Jeri!
