I travel monthly for work, on the worse and dangerous places; so, the following recension it is reliable. You could arrive to Jericoacoara from two locations. I have reached it through Prea, driving on the beach. From the main road, you will turn into a dirty road, and meet on the junction a group young locals. They will try to... More

An adventure in itself just getting there, but fun all the way. In a small town you switch from coach to giant dune buggy with your gear on the roof. Then cross dunes (you`ll think it`s the Sahara) along the NE coast of Brazil to the tiny fishing village. Jeri itself is a place everyone should go to at least... More

I stayed here for six days at the end of a month long trip to Brazil. I had a huge mishap gettin here. Long story short, I missed my stop on the bus from Fortaleza to Jijuca and decided to hop off the bus and walk the 2 km back in the dark. Saying I was a little nervous would... More

We are completely amazed by Jeri! We just got back Fromm our trip to Fortaleza and Natal and Jeri is definitely one of our favorite place! Even though it takes a long ride to get there, it was well worthy!!!! We were traveling in a group of 4, so we hired a cab to take us there from Fortaleza. We... More

Jeri has to be one of the windiest places I have visited. I was there aug / sept 2012 and I did not have a single day without wind. Jeri is not a wave place - well not in aug / sept. But you have some waves you can ride, and do freestyle tricks on. Other than that, you can... More

I went to Brazil for a month (July 2012) and Jericoacoara was my least favourite place. We ended up leaving earlier than we'd intended because we didn't like it. It has none of the authenticity and Brazilian culture that other places had, and it literally is a 3 road village built on sand dunes. If you want to just relax... More

It´s a very beautiful place, 6 hours from Fortaleza. I went to a lot of beautiful beaches and lagoons. It was perfect for the honey moon. I loved "Lagoa do Coração (heart lagoon)" and "Lagoa do Paraíso (paradise lagoon)" and "Lagoa Azul (blue lagoon)".

You must spend at least 5 days on this great small village, the tourist rounds will take 3 days but you have to dedicate one entire day to walk around and enjoy the litle things there. Its amazing
