Be aware tha t this beach praia Jericoacoara is too dangerous and there are many local brazilian criminals and assasin waiting on tourist. Do not go to this beach praia jericoacoara in Ceara. Many people were murdered here! Find another place or country! Avoid Brazil!!!!!

Between sanddunes and the Atlantic ocean you will find the beautiful small fishing village. It is worth all the hours in the car.

Driving a long way with our rented car, then, tired, a spontaneous meeting with a guide, Marciel, got our trust, and from there to incredible lakes, dunes, lagoons, the most amazing sunset you'll ever see, and an adventourous druve through dunes with our guide. Great food and prices as well. A few hours there and you are a better, tranquile... More

I spent four days here and I fell in love with this place. I was at Fortaleza, caught the bus and after a 6 hour bus drive we had to hop on a top less off-road vehicle to get to Jericocoara. The price is all included in the bus ticket. Amazing beaches, restaurants, beautiful and chilled night markets, yummy street... More

This place is our best place in Brazil! It did help that we stayed in a beautiful hotel but you kind of have to in such an amazing place. It is a little beach village with roads of sand. No cars really and you don't need them because you can walk everywhere (there are buggies). The beach isn't great (its... More

I was my first time in Jeri this July and I was literally astonished by the landscape and sightseer around the city. The sand dunes are all around, you can walk through them and walk for miles without encountering a single person or a vehicle...jeri is located in a protected natural park, where the ecosystem is perfectly balanced, and at... I travel monthly for work, on the worse and dangerous places; so, the following recension it is reliable. You could arrive to Jericoacoara from two locations. I have reached it through Prea, driving on the beach. From the main road, you will turn into a dirty road, and meet on the junction a group young locals. They will try to... More

An adventure in itself just getting there, but fun all the way. In a small town you switch from coach to giant dune buggy with your gear on the roof. Then cross dunes (you`ll think it`s the Sahara) along the NE coast of Brazil to the tiny fishing village. Jeri itself is a place everyone should go to at least... More

I stayed here for six days at the end of a month long trip to Brazil. I had a huge mishap gettin here. Long story short, I missed my stop on the bus from Fortaleza to Jijuca and decided to hop off the bus and walk the 2 km back in the dark. Saying I was a little nervous would... More

We are completely amazed by Jeri! We just got back Fromm our trip to Fortaleza and Natal and Jeri is definitely one of our favorite place! Even though it takes a long ride to get there, it was well worthy!!!! We were traveling in a group of 4, so we hired a cab to take us there from Fortaleza. We... More
