Simply one of the best beaches Iv'e seen during our one month travel around Brazil. Very very beautiful, quiet and all equipped beach area. The only problem is that you'll have to make a looong walk (almost an hour) to get there if you stay in Trancoso as we did. But, trust me, it's worth it.

Close to trancoso and absolutely stunning! One of the best beaches ive been to. It's quiet and you can have a lot of privacy. The sea can be wavy but there is a natural pool/river on the sand which is great for swimming/dipping in! It's so nice to be on a quiet beach without vendors!

When the tide is in or if you don't feel like getting your feet wet by wading across you can pay the ferry man R$5 and he will pole you across the Rio Trancoso. At low tide large expanses of sand embrace tidal pools among the mangroves. Beach can get gritty with blowing sand when the trade winds blow.

Good safe sandy beach with assortment of places to eat. Slightly shelved but when tide is a bit out safe for kids.

We drove there from our pousada in Trancoso as our kids are young and my mom is old. Good restaurant, shade, breeze, felt like paradise. One family got a bit stuck as the inlet flooded at high tide and the water was too strong for one of the family members, so the tide tables are something to consider if walking.

Beautiful beach, a bit windy when we were there. Gourmet lunch was absolutely delicious, and on the beach!!

worth the 40 minutes walk, beautiful and empty beach. There's just one restaurant there called Terravista. It's nice but expensive. We walked there but could go back by the beach because the tide was high in the afternoon so we walked all the way up and took the road! Good experience though!

In Rio da Barra is located the Falésias and you can get there walking. It's an amazing place to take pictures, so don't forget your camera.

Really liked how clean and pretty this beach, but it was much more expensive than the other beaches - from food to the R30 parking. It wasn't so much better than Rio Verde Beach that we'd pay the entry fee again.

Beautiful Sandy beach (check the tides), sea with no rocks or seaweed and in early april...No people at all. In a whole day I saw about 10 walkers while I lazed on a sunlounger at the terra Vista.
