We drove there from our pousada in Trancoso as our kids are young and my mom is old. Good restaurant, shade, breeze, felt like paradise. One family got a bit stuck as the inlet flooded at high tide and the water was too strong for one of the family members, so the tide tables are something to consider if walking.

Beautiful beach, a bit windy when we were there. Gourmet lunch was absolutely delicious, and on the beach!!

worth the 40 minutes walk, beautiful and empty beach. There's just one restaurant there called Terravista. It's nice but expensive. We walked there but could go back by the beach because the tide was high in the afternoon so we walked all the way up and took the road! Good experience though!

In Rio da Barra is located the Falésias and you can get there walking. It's an amazing place to take pictures, so don't forget your camera.

Really liked how clean and pretty this beach, but it was much more expensive than the other beaches - from food to the R30 parking. It wasn't so much better than Rio Verde Beach that we'd pay the entry fee again.

Beautiful Sandy beach (check the tides), sea with no rocks or seaweed and in early april...No people at all. In a whole day I saw about 10 walkers while I lazed on a sunlounger at the terra Vista.

To choose one beach from the endless number in Bahia becomes a very subjective exercise. Our favorite is the beach at Rio da Barra where you can swim in the river and let the current carry you along to the sea or plant your feet in the sand and have the best Jacuzzi of your life.

A great walk from the main beach in Trancoso, with plenty of places to stop for drinks along the way.

We spent the last two days of our weeklong holiday in Trancoso here. It was by far the best, even better than Caraiva and Praia do Espelho. We spent the day at the Cabahna there and the food was excellent. The consumo minimo (minimum consumption to spend the day at the hotel/restaurant) was also quite reasonable at 40 reais (about... Just 20 minutes walking from the Rio Trancoso, you walk through the beautiful Nativos’ beach to arrive at this piece of heaven on earth. A very quiet place with just one restaurant, it offers the sweet river water, a walk through the mangrove, nice waves, incredible landscape and, if you want some adventure, you might walk further yet, through the...
