Great for the young, but not what we were after. crowded plastic tables and chairs on the beach from the various restaurants blaring out competing music!

If you're going to nativos beach, be sure make a stop at the "quadrado", a very nice place with a wonderful view to the ocean. We stayed at the Bar do Barbudo and it was terrible! Avoid it...they try to charge you for everything, includind ice and the dvd they were playing. Take a walk at the beach and go... More

I simply loved Trancoso!!!! I went to Praia dos Nativos and found a spot in a beach club with eletronic music and huge beach chairs - that was paradise to me! The beach itself is really clean with very white sand, deep blue water and lots of coconut trees. I "rented" a horse for half an hour to walk around... More

This is a beautiful beach with warm water, but as Trancoso can be a bit windy, so you may want to walk over to Coqueiros beach.

It's a beautiful and extense beach, with clean water at a nice temperature. The sea it's not agitated, so you can flutuate and relax. There's a wide strip sand, usually not inclinated - great for walks. We walked about seven Kilometers at each direction. There are some beach bars. Some are crowded because of the touristic excursions. Others are from... More

With 4 kms, it is the longest beach in Trancoso. Good for walking in the mornings and then having lunch in the restaurants. In the afternoons you can go to the Rio Trancoso, where this beach begins, and have a bath of sweet water and check the crabs and fishes. Or take surfing lessons with Romualdo, best instructor I ever... More
