Ok, the food is nice, and it comes quickly to your table, but the portions are average and the price is high.It has been famous for being in Jorge Amado´s novel, Gabriela, but that´s not enough to keep it as a highly recommended restaurant.

The bar is a famous location in Ilheus, Bahia. A place once frequented by Jorge Amado and quoted in his worldwide famous novels. But that is all you get. Famous place with poor drinks choice and equaly bad apetizers. Prices are set to get the greater value of anything under the owner's standpoint. I was harrassed acountless number of times... More

First bar that you come across when you come to Ilheus. They have some artisan beer which is a plus in a small city like this. Sometimes can be very crowded especially when you have cruise ships in the port. Poor wifi no connection. Not so big menu and quite expensive. I only had a drink no food the prices... More
