Myself and my boyfriend had provisionally booked a 3 day, 2 night trip with Amazon Riders based solely on the reviews we had read and the fact that the prices were all very similar for all the tour agencies. We were comforted by the prompt responses to our emails and when we arrived Rafael picked us up and gave us... More

#1 regret: not buying a binocular..... don't make the same mistake I picked b/w Gero Tour vs Amazon River Riders thinking with the canoes I would be able to go deeper into the jungle, see more animal, and this tour was also about 200 Reais cheaper. Rain season lasts until about June. Per our guide, if you want to see... More

A friend an I went on a 5 day Araca tour and it was amazing from the beginning. Firstly Rafael's customer service and dealing with him via email before coming and finally meeting him is superb, it was a pleasure to meet him. We were picked up from the airport on time and taken straight to their hotel where we... More

There are a number of options to choose from when you pick a tour company to take you into the Amazon, and they usually all offer similar packages. There are differences in location, price, amount of activity, level of luxury, etc. We choose Amazon Riders for a number of reasons: location visited (Juma is the best), the price was great,... More

We booked Amazon Riders 3-day Araca tour on the internet after choosing from different options. I was really looking forward to the jungle experience: camping and sleeping in the jungle in hammocks. Since it was raining hard most of the time, our guide decided not to do the camping experience. We really would have preferred to be part of the... More

My group of 8 completed a 9-day Amazon jungle adventure with Amazon Riders. The trip was booked as a survival trip and we definitely learned some basic survival strategies while immersing ourselves in virgin Amazon rainforest with a guide who actually scouted sites for the reality show Amazon Survivor. It was a fantastic tour with a knowledgable guide who had... More

We had a very athletic and adventuresome group, so we had strict guidelines regarding no touristy activities, reasonable cost, and no boring pamper activities. Amazon Riders as an agency, and specifically Conrad, Tio Jao, and Branco as our guides, did an incredible job granting us exactly the experience we were looking for. They even have some beds at there office... More

Having arrived in Manaus off a five day boat from Belem I wanted to organise a 3/4 day trip into the jungle with as little hassle as possible. I'd researched the recommended tour companies on TA and other sites and Amazon Riders was consinsently up there. Rafael was in the office when I got there and took me through all... More
