We were lucky enough to have Pedro and Christina of Amazon Eco Adventures rearrange their schedule to fit us in to their one day tour Amazon River tour, during our short time in Manaus. Not only are they excellent hosts and very knowledgeable guides, but they live and breathe the sort of philosophy that you would expect from a tour... More

Pedro and Christina were great guides for the dolphin tour and I learned just about as much as was possible in a full-day tour, including the fact that Amazon Eco Adventures doesn't just talk about conservation but lives for it both on and off the river and in everything they do - congratulations guys for the professionalism and I look... Fantastic day on the Amazon from the very enthusiastic Milton and his team of guides to the novelty of holding a sloth - the entire day was full of surprises. Lunch was excellent and the setting second to none. The Meeting of the Waters was a sight to see and the welcome from the Amazonian tribe was just lovely. As... More

Took the Rio Januari day trip in April and it was fantastic- Pedro is a very knowledgeable guide and loves to share stories and special places with you. The Meeting of the Waters was a definite bucket list item, and swimming with dolphins was really wild! Also loved the giant Victoria regia water lillies. What a beautiful place, thanks Pedro!

Fantastic tour, starting with the meeting of the rivers of the Rio Negro and Rio Somales which eventually form the Amazon. Riverside communities and then to experience the jungle itself and tour guide showing you the Amazon fauna and flora. Great trip and wonderful location.

I first off want to say this review is no reflection on our guide Milton. He was friendly, spoke good English, and was very knowledgeable. Milton was awesome! I selected this tour company because I read great reviews of the small groups and and more personal experience. When we showed up to a boat with 30+ people I was very... More

When our trip to Manaus was confirmed I had also made arrangements with another tour company for several day trips to the Amazon and other areas. But after reading about Amazon Eco-Adventures here on trip advisor I cancelled the other reservation and I sent an email and Pedro and his team responded immediately to all the questions that I posed... Swimming with Dolphins, dancing with Indigenous people, watch water lily, meeting of water, watching ferocious fish of the Amazon etc is quite an experience. Our guide Milton was excellent sharing knowledge and his own experiences.

There's a lot to be said for a company that won't just hire anyone to satisfy high demand. These guys all love their jobs and have loads of experience. Any wonder TV crews sought them out (Channel 7 Australia - Ahn Does Brazil and others). Great accommodation, great food and a great experience. Many many thanks, Andrew (Melbourne, Australia).
