Sustainable tourism is our priority, we are the only Tourism agency who has done several social services around our Amazonian region for several times. Amazon Gero Tours advises you: Please, do not trust unauthorized people at the airport using good companies names to offer you tourism information, taxi or jungle tours, do pay attention when they approach you in front of the hostels even if they say they work for the hotel. Some Hostels and Hotels staffs use to offer you Jungle tours, jungle lodges or boat tours that they have never seen, just because a fat commission. « less

Very good company to do this tour with , from pick up at the airport to getting back to manaus. Everyone that works for the company are very friendly and helpful , can speak English and can answer just about any question you can throw at them. Along with this they are all funny And enjoy a joke , even... More

Our trip began with a very easy airport pickup in Manaus even though our group of four arrived at two separate times (and one group at 11:30 p.m.). Our transport to and from the Jungle House was itself an exciting venture as it enabled us to realize the hugeness of the Amazon and its tributaries and to see the crossing... More

We three girls (Austria & Germany) booked 3 days of adventure with the nice Gero. Even we had just a short time he managed to fullfill our personal wish to swim with the pink dolphins! Little advice> Take yourself enough time for Manaus & jungle-tours, so you have no time pressure!! Amazon time works different and the dolphins have holidays... More

This has been my second year visiting Manaus and working withGero Tours. I am always really impressed by the dedication that Gero and his staff put into taking care of your needs and making you feel comfortable. If something is not available for your trip, Gero will find a way to make it happen for you. When you trust him... More

I got picked up at the airport and my first question was 'how many people are on the tour tomorrow?' Given that the confirmation email said 10 people maximum per group, I was a little apprehensive to be told 63! But the World Cup is over now so I doubt you'll have thing happen to you. Luckily, having chosen a... More

We went on a 3 day, 2 night tour with a private room and bathroom. It was an adventure just getting there as it was the wet season and the river is 90' higher than in the dry season. The guides are great and you get the chance to fish for Piranha, catch Cayman, Tarantula, Scorpions and swim in the... More

The tour exceeded all our expectations. Hard to pick out the most memorable part. For my wife it was the chance to 'cuddle' a sloth and a caiman, for our son it was catching the most piranhas, for me the realisation of a dream I had had since I was seven, visiting a local home with a frozen armadillo in... Me, my girlfiend and friend did this tour mid July and can only highly recommend it. The guides were extremely informative and knew alot about the wildlife, flora and fauna of the amazon jungle. We were lucky enough to see monkeys, sloths, tarantulas (and other creep crawlies) along with pink dolphins and caymans, we also caught a few piranhas as... More

What an unforgettable tour and 1 of the real highlights of our South America trip. Our english speaking guide Kennedy and local guide "captain" were a great team who treated my wife and I to an amazing adventure on the flooded river. Handling a sloth, a tarantula and baby caiman, hand line, stalking and bow and arrow fishing, close up... More

Visiting the amazon is truly an amazing experience. There are a number of your operators in Manaus and after visiting and researching a few of them I found Gero tours to be the most authentic, accommodating and experienced. The guides are fantastic, the jungle lodge like a retreat and the daily activities very interesting and exciting. I personally would recommend... More
