ATC introduces you to an Amazon as you never seen! EcoTourism, Nature...

ATC introduces you to an Amazon as you never seen! EcoTourism, Nature and Adventure Travel or Sustainable Tourism. ATC is specialized in Tree Climbing and boat expeditions at the Brazilian Amazon. ATC is the pioneer/first company to bring recreational Tree Climbing activity to Brazil and the Amazon. To present and ravel the mysteries that centuries-old Amazonian trees in keep their hearts, which is 80% of forest biodiversity. We aim to draw attention to it: the value of standing forests, maintaining the balance of man and nature. Our activity is focused on minimizing the socio-environmental impact and doing so we will leave for future generations what we experience today.

The view is amazing, along with the sense of accomplishment for getting yourself up there is unparalleled, but be not fooled even though the harness will help you balance your weight... you still have a ton of leg work to do! Its a half day trip, at least with the option of doing an overnight stay if you choose ahed.... More

This was one of our best experiences ever! To go beyond the limits of your own capacities, well covered and fantastically coached by the team from Manaus! Me and my wife were surprised by this possibility to climb in such height, stand at the treetop with this fantastic view, knowing to have something done very special! We thank the whole... More

We were met by Matteaus, who speaks flawless English and loves to talk, and his partner Matt. It was just my wife and I for the short trip, out to climb one tree and back. Don't expect to go far out into the Amazon jungle, they have a very tall tree that overlooks the harbor and the meeting of the... More

we booked with ATC a month in advance and, of course paid the remainder of the balance in cash before we set out on our adventure. The weather turned and we were not able to climb any trees, which was very disappointing. Luckily we did swim with the pink dolphins before the storm. Upon returning to our hotel I inquired... More

We went tree climbing during the World Cup so we booked well ahead of time (six months, same as booking our accom). On the website they say they can only take groups of 6 at a time so when we had 10 people in the group on the day I figured we were two groups. But, no, they made half... More

We did the waterfall & tree climb tour & it was great. Matteaus was our guide & he is polite and speaks English. The climb is more physically challenging than expected--especially for your hands, but the reward of making it to the top is worth it! The waterfall is nice & it is refreshing to swim after the climb. We... More

We visited Manaus for three days during the World Cup, and had inquired about a half-day tree climbing excursion several weeks in advance. We finalized payment through PayPal on June 13, 2014, with the trip scheduled for June 22, 2014. However, on the morning of June 22, we waited in our hotel lobby, and waited, and waited, and nobody ever... More

I absolutely loved my experience with Amazon Tree Climbing. I had to pester them a little to get the booking, but it was one of the best days ever. They picked me up at my lodging and met at a central hotel, where we headed to a boat, and then to the swim with pink dolphins. Everything was very organized,... More

This was our favorite activity in Manaus. We were kicked up promptly from our hotel and transported in a comfortable van to the climbing site. This was a giant amazon tree with a view of the meeting of the waters. Our guides were skilled an made you feel safe and we're very helpful as we climbed a 200 meter tree.... More
