Unfortunately we cannot review the Tree Climbing expedition because despite our repeated attempts to book a trip, no one in the company bothered to answer our emails, text messages, Facebook message or multiple telephone calls. We did manage to speak to Eddy very briefly but he was busy and asked us to call back later. I told him that I... More

I spent a day with Amazon Tree Climbing during which I scaled a samauma tree and took part in the boto (river dolphin) encounter. It wasn’t quite as adventurous as I’d hoped for but was still a very enjoyable day. Amazon Tree Climbing seems to be very well run. The hotel pick-up in Manaus was prompt and the staff were... More

My youngest son (9 year old) loves tree climbing so this was an absolute must-do on our trip to Brazil. I'm scared of heights, but had a great time. Eddie is amazing - patient, and very knowledgable. We had a private session with our family of 4. He put the slower ones first so I actually made it to the... More

I had a very nice time with the guys climbing the tree. They where very professional and eventhough three others cancelled, and I was on my own, they continued the trip without complaining. Later I heard that they lost money with my trip, still they where really friendly and patient. I never felt unsave. Everybody should do this trip, it... More

Booked last minute (literally the night before) and they were able to fit us in for an afternoon climb. My girlfriend and I were a bit nervous about the climb as both of us are afraid of heights, but we decided to give it shot. Our guides Eddy and Fabio picked us up 10 minutes early (almost unheard of in... More

This day long experience is a great adventure. One of the treats is to watch the ropes being established for us to climb the 60 metre emergent tree. Our guides are internationally certified and fit. The climb itself was thrilling and safe. Well worth the money.

We decided to do this based on all the incredible Tripadvisor reviews, and I'm so glad we did! The guide came and picked us up from our hostel in a van and we drove to the site - for the "Meeting of the Waters" trip, this was about 45 minutes. The trip overall was pretty quick, 30 minutes to get... More

My high hopes were destoyed even though I showed up 30 minutes early at the Terminal and waited 45 minutes after the designated pick up time. I called thier phone number and was told I had waited at the wrong spot. They told me to go back to the Terminal and to wait for their person to return. I called... More

This was one of the best things my husband and I did whilst travelling around Brazil for two weeks. We had been hesitant in booking because it is not cheap but after experiencing it I have to say that it is well worth the money. We chose to to the full day tour, which included a tree climb, swimming with... More
