Natural Pools

Check the tide tables and take a small boat 2-3 hours before low tide out to the reefs. Don't forget to bring a mask and snorkel to see the beauty under the water...

With the low tide you can walk in the sea and the water will never pass your knees... The beach is nice, the sea is green like all other beaches in Maceio. I found the trip to the natural pool not as nice and clear as Maragogi (you MUST go here), but also nice. Get your snorkel and go away... More

Nice natural pools if you arrive early. Easy going beach. A lot of fresh fish for reasonable prices.

I´m very happy during the day at Paripueira beach. My friends and I went to see the coral and fish, the water is warm, and I stayed for two hours observing the fish and coral . After this we return to the place called Mar & Cia and the restaurant was very good. It was a pleasant day. I recomend... More

It has an excellent infrastructure with restaurants, umbrellas, tables and chairs to pass the whole day in confort while enjoying the always present sun and the sea is calm and ideal for family.

Nice enough beach, but there are much prettier along the coast. Definitely need to have a car to travel; up the coast as some of the beaches are great, especially Praiai de Tabuba. Unfortunately they have not got into cleaning the beaches much so there's always lots of rubbish which is a shame.

I liked the expansive sand at low tide and the local feel with the small fisherman boats. The natural pools at a boat ride from the shore are nice, but not spectacular. The water is not so transparent as at Maragogi, probably because there is a creek nearby but this place is not so crowded and touristic as Maragogi. The... More

It is a wonderful white sand beach, with lots of reefs, and you can pay for a visit to natural reef pools to see the fishes. The place is fantastic , with lots of fish boats at the sand at low tide, very nice place for a walk. No structure, there was only one tend working, very small, not even... More

I've known Paripueira all my life. It's the first city 35km outside Maceió through AL101 - North road, and it's always being kinda the "poor cousing" of the capital, for the beaches are not that pretty, or urbanized. Some recent work has been done in the city the last years, and it looks much better, a little beach town with... More
