You have to go!

The view is amazing, and there are a lot of bar selling caipirinha, sea food, cold coconut water. They have too, bathroom and showers with cold water to take a good bath.

Without doubt one of the most beautiful beaches of Brazil. The water is cristal clear and the view is fantastic. Unfortunately the ´Mirante´ has become a touristic supermarket with a lot of noise and now you have to pay for the view, some years ago it was for free. Loud music ( as everywhere in Brazil ) takes the fun... More

Gunga Beach is one of the best beaches I've ever been to in Brazil. The sand is almost white and you can enjoy, in the same place, the sea and the lagoon. I mean it's a beach where the sea and the lagoon meet so you can enjoy being at the sea with small waves or going "round the corner"... More

Maceio, and the NE of Brazil in particular, has the best beaches in the country and in the Southern Hemisphere Atlantic side in general. The water during summer is very pleasant, a nice shade of green and warm. The beach goes on for as long as you could possibly want and there is a natural offshore wave break in this... More

If you are in Maceió, take a toruist tour or rent a car, but do not miss going to Gunga beach. Clear water, soft sand and coconut trees, lots of them Take the road to São Miguel dos Campos but turn left before getting there, direction Penedo. Left again at the top of a small hill, and you'll see the... More

When you go to Maceió, Brazil, be sure to visit Gunga Beach, and take a buggy ride up the falesias. It's very beautiful, a creation of Nature that fills our eyes of emotion.

Start at Barra do San Miguel, take a boat ride out to the reef, then (if it's low tide) onto the bar in the middle of the ocean and have a drink, then onto Gunga. Nice beach kind of like on a peninsula - one side open to the ocean, the other to a protected cove where the water is... More

Great place. Lots of restaurant and food option. Different activities available so you wont just sit in the sun all day. Beautiful view. Different from anything you will ever experience. Tip for getting there: roads not very well signaled but I bought a guided tour and it's great to learn more about the area and not worry about anything else.... More
