We wanted a nice, calm family day on the beach, with our own picnic basket. We were in Gunga some years ago and remembered it that way. So we went. The bad experience started with queing a narrow road where, in the end, we were charged big for the parking. On the beach we asked several places about the system,... More

This is a beautiful beach that was unfortunately been overexploited by tourism. Twenty years ago it might have been a paradise, but not it is a overcrowded tourist trap. If you are after beautiful, still unspoiled beaches in Maceió keep yourself in the north shore - Prategy is one beautiful beach with reasonable infrastructure (there is a resort nearby with... More

Beautiful place, warm beach water, the color of the sea is incredible. You can play buggy and see a little river near the rocks and the beach, I have adored there. It's a place that I recomend to visit.

The beach is astonishing and a must go!!! You can look it from above in a Mirante, that costs BRL2. You can see a huge coconut palm tree farm, the beach and the green sea. The best is to take a ATV (or a buggy) for the ride. We paid 100BRL and it was TOTALLY WORTH IT!!! You drive down... More

Beautiful! Beach is a little bit busy, bud the view at the miranda is beautiful. There is also a great restaurant next to the road.

Beautiful beach with calm waters and amazing view. Local structure is enough to be there with a fair service, such as food, bathroom and drinks. The view is the main reward for each one that looks for relax, enjoy the sun and swimming in a beautiful sea.

Poor infrastructure. Dishes cost an arm and a leg. Extremely loud music. The landscape is nice and the beach is above average, but if you weigh everything, this is not really among the best options available. You can watch videos of Maceio and other trips I took in my Youtube channel, in https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSnlDgGBkeCnhbDbLLkCjew
