Built originally in 1333, Srebrenik Fortress keeps memories from medieval Bosnian kingdom, changes of its lords, soldiers and different times. Entrance fees are very arrordable, only 1 bam (0.50 EUR), with spectacular view on the surrounding area. Worth visiting!

One of the best conserved fortress in whole Bosnia. Upon a time it was a place from where Bosnian Ban/King Stjepan II Kotromanic ruled all over todays Bosna and Herzegovina. Entrance fee is 0,50€. From this place you can have a beautiful view on the Srebrenik valley, and if weather is clear you can see far away to Croatian side... More

One of the best castle in Bosnia. Difficult to access due to the roads and mountains, but very nice preserved and restored building. Entrance fee (1 mark, so 0,50€). Not much explanation and historical speech here, but a beautiful view on the valley and the snowy hills and mountains in winter.

The view from the castle was fabulous and the information boards were very thorough. The children I took enjoyed the visit.

Located on a mountain top very close to the modern day city of Srebrenik sits this wonderful example of a Medieval Castle. But in a very difficult place, Srebrenik is more a Fortress. The drive to get to this stunning location can be a bit tricky. It is a very narrow paved lane that winds around homes and small house... More
