We did the las pampas tour and la selva tour with fluvial and both experiences were awesome!! It's the jungle so what you see is up to the wildlife of course but fluvial guides are definitely on to it!! Mario was the BEST guide, we only had him for la selva but he does pampas as well. Their accommodation is... More

We are travelling for 15 months now, did a lot of tours by travel agency as well, but had such a terrible experience with this Fluvial tour we´ve ever had before! I regretted a lot after I saw the reviews on TA. What happened is, we were supposed to take a Pampas tour (550 Bol each person) and payed money... More

We went with Fluvial for the pampas tour based on recommendation from lonely planet and for the cost. It was the cheapest option around Rurre. However we ended up being out on a tour with Fletcha tours instead. I guess during low season, the tour companies consolidate the groups. We found out about this with a knock on our hostel... More

Booked the pampas tour with deep rainforest tours in la paz and ended up with fluvial tours. On the whole the experience was okay. We saw the pampas, there were lots of aligators and we spent lots of time on the river seeing different birds and reptiles. The guide spoke a little english and was enthusiastic, although he was more... More

We probably should have looked on here before booking with this company. They were very disorganised on the first day- we began about an hour later than we were told to meet at the agency in Rurrenabaque, the driver disappeared at lunch in Santa Rosa and then we were waiting and watching every other group take off on their boats... I booked trips for the Pampas and jungle tours (each tour 3 days/2 nights) through iseek Bolivia, which has a desk in the Pirwa hostel in La Paz. 50% of what they promised us about the trip was inaccurate. The guides did not speak English and obviously did not know what they were doing (they seemed like they didn't know what... I heard many things about tour companies for Jungle tour in Madidi, that's why I decided to book with the company recommended by Lonely planet. Actually, there was just two options, Bala and Fluvial, I heard the first one has good service but too expensive for me, that's why I booked with the second option: Fluvial, this company asked for... We paid just under £50 for our 3d/2n pampas trip direct with fluvial. We got the last two spaces available (as did everyone else on our tour! :)) We had a good, fun, diverse group of english speaking nationalities, which helps enormously. Our guide (Bishmark) was a man of few words. He seemed a bit of a Mr Angry at... More

So we had a great time on our Pampas trip. Weather was great, many animals and an affordable tour company. But we had a few problems with Fluvial: - our driver was involved in a car accident. He failed to give way at an intersection and collided with a woman on a scooter. He didn´t immediately stop. Instead he keep... More

We have bought 3 days selva trip at some agency in La Paz. We paid 100 us dollars per person and we have heard that Fluvial sells the same for 80 but you have to do it directly in Rurrenabaque. To get to selva from RRR it took us 5 hours with stops. They picked us up at the airport.... More
