You need time. There is a long walk on the big sand dune until you get to the pacific ocean. But usually there are hardly any people there. A nice place to just look at the ocean and sit at the vast sand dune.

Nakatajima Sand Dunes are a pretty visually uninteresting. The surf at the beach is much too treacherous for swimming. The beach can be extremely littered, but it can be a nice place to take a walk. Be prepared for constant winds, which makes it usually cooler in the summer than in town. There is a nice adjoining park, where you... More
