This was our first experience at getting to see Orcas in their natural habit. We had seen them at Seaworld but they were so trained. To see the unexpected beauty of them is just amazing. The crew was great and made the trip so enjoyable. We went on June 26th and it was freezing on the water so be sure... More

My family visited Seattle in June 2014 and of course wanted to go whale watching, but I'm so glad we chose Island Adventures. The crew were friendly and knowledgeable, and most importantly we saw whales! We went on the afternoon/evening 5-6 hour trip and over the course of the trip we saw three different orca pods, it was absolutely amazing!... More

My wife and I visited in June of 2014 and returned in 2015 with her extended family. Our first experience was a meeting of two resident pods (>45 orcas) cavorting for over an hour. This time the crew had to work to find the whales, but after sailing hours north toward Canada, we watched a pod of transient orca females... More

Third trip in as many years. This was a once in lifetime experience. We had a transient Orca pod stay with us for a few HOURS if that gives you any idea of how amazing it was. We watched them hunt and eat as well as playing around for most of our trip. The Island Adventure crew was top notch... More

This was my 3rd whale watching tour and was my least favorite. I'm glad we got to see Orcas since that's all I really wanted to see anyways, but the staff was kind of boring. They seemed like they were trying to convince us that they loved their job, but i didn't fee like they really meant it. Maybe they... More

We booked the 5-6 hour Anacortes tour on a Wednesday in early June. I did a lot of research before choosing Island Adventures and I think I made the right choice. The boat is large and can hold up to 149 passengers. I think there were 102 on our trip and it never felt crowded. I appreciated being able to... More

We booked a whale watching tour online, which saves you 10 dollars. The tour itself was great. We saw two groups of Orca's, with one of them we stayed for approx. 45 minutes to observe them. The naturalist Bart provided us with lots of information about the whales and the islands. We had a great time!

The Captain and crew were great, and seemed to really enjoy what they were doing. We were fortunate enough to locate and watch, for what seemed like hours, the "J" pod of Orcas. Food on board was what we expected. Would take a trip with them again.

Went on this trip on my vacation in Seattle. We had perfect weather on June 17 and our crew was outstanding. Captain Michael, naturalist Tyson and Rookie Stephanie were all very knowledgeable and their personalities made the trip fun as well as educational. Right off the bat we saw a humpback and were totally psyched. Hung around and watched him... More

We were in the Seattle area for a soccer tournament and my daughter wanted to go whale watching. She bought 8-10 brochures up to the room and I researched all the different companies, read the reviews and looked at the websites. Island Adventures kept coming out on top so we booked a trip with them. Jess and Brooke were wonderful... More
