Stayed in Seattle and drove up to Anacortes - about 90 minutes' easy drive. Boat was full (but still good views for everyone) and sailed for over an hour with nothing to report, when all of a sudden we had three orca pods in front of us. They estimated this to be around 40 animals. Watched them for an hour... More

We saw a lot of whales and even saw one, "spy hopping." The boat was comfortable and clean. In all it was a very enjoyable esperience.

This was my first whale watching your ever and island adventures did not disappoint! We saw many orcas and a couple of humpback whales! Fairly small and intimate group and wonderful crew. This is the way to see the whales. And it leaves from anacortes!

We spent so much money on this tour! The price was more than double those of any other whale watching tours I have ever gone on. $100 per person. It was over 5 hours long, freezing, and boring, with endless commentary from the "naturalist" who imparted no real facts or interesting information on the wildlife. And yet...he NEVER stopped talking.... More

Nelly G. there are two points that were accurate in this review. 1) You went whale watching in October and YES it is cold! We make it very well known during phone conversations, on the website, on the confirmation emails, and over the counter/in person that it will be chilly on the water an that we highly recommend dressing in... One of the best adventures I've been on in a long while. There last tour of the season we got a triple header [Minke-Humpback-Orca]. We also were treated to several different wildlife and had a big male buzz under the boat. The crew were perfect and insured that we all got a got look at the whales. We have already... More

We book several trips a season with Island Adventures! The Naturalists are informative and know their stuff, and they are personable and always go the extra mile to answer your questions! The Captain and the rest of the crew are respectful of the wildlife, and compliant with giving the whales the space required. That does not however prevent whales from... More

Whale watching was on my bucket list. We saw whales. Crew was friendly and helpful. Boat was nice and seemed safe. We got to see two different types of whales the day we went out. Also saw bald eagles. One of the highlights of the vacation.

We had an amazing trip - our naturalists and captain took us to all the best spots. We saw 2 groups of Orca (even saw them playing together), 3 humpbacks including one show off who did 3 breaches for us, a minke and a fin whale, along with sea lions and so much more. Wonderful, and we bought the naturalists'... More

I had always wanted to see orca whales so when I came across this brochure I knew we had to do it! The captain and crew were wonderful and very friendly. We saw a humpback whale, harbor seals, sea lions, sea otters and we saw so many orcas it was unbelievable! They were all around us and they were being... More
