Panoramic view of quite a distance, natural setting, again, fragrant woodsy air.

Another curvy winding road worth the trip up and down. Just take it slow...it's not a race to the top/bottom. :)

Mt. Erie Park is in the Heart Lake section of Anacortes Community Forest Lands. The paved road to the top of Mount Erie is only the beginning. There are also trails to the top. At the base of the mountain, there is a parking area and an informative kiosk, and the start of some trails. There are no restroom facilities... More

One can drive or hike to the top of Mt Erie. The views are outstanding and well worth the effort. There are also trails that will take you to Whistle Lake or to the top of Sugarloaf.

Viewing platforms with dazzling views of surrounding Skagit County and Whidbey Island. Please read the Memorial plaque in the parking area at the top. Young man went off trail and tried to look over the edge. I was there that day and it reminds us all to cherish those we love. Enjoy and be Safe

Awesome drive to the top of the mountain just a few minutes from town center. Lots of himing inthe area. Terrific view of ocean, mkuntian ranges and many other sights. The day was cloudy and overcast so we weren't able to see all that we hoped.

You can go up by car to the very top and enjoy the super-impressive views over the islands. Don't miss to watch the birds flying around there and enjoy the pure nature.

We drove up to the peak of Mt. Erie during a recent business trip. Surprisingly, not the official vista but the unbeaten path gives the best views. About 100 yards down from the peak, you get to an area that has stunning views. Yes, you have to climb over some boulders and climb down to a plateau but it is... More

A tight road up there, windy but worth it. Plenty of places to pull over & look. Well worth the trip

We were short on time so didn't end up hiking, just drove our car all the way to the top. Climbed out on some rocks and saw absolutely breathtaking views! Even if you don't have a full day to spend hiking around or rock climbing, I recommend at least taking the short drive up to the top! You won't regret... More
