The Village at Shirlington is great if you are staying at the local Hilton Garden Inn as you can eat at a different restaurant every evening. The Luna Grill and Busboys & Poets also offer breakfast. Beyond that there is a theatre, cinema and library in the location. A multi-story parking garage provides convenient parking although I noted that many... More

Shirlington Village was minutes from our hotel. After our 10 hour car ride to the DC area, we were very happy to find so many dinner choices in one place. It is also a friendly, quiet place to walk around and relax.

Like being in a time warp. Felt like walking up a British 'high street' from the 60's. Lots of bars and restaurants - loads of people walking their dogs but no sign of the dogs visiting cards. I liked the village a lot.

I live in another part of Northern Virginia, so I don't get this way often. Some friends were visiting Arlington, so I met them In Shirlington to have dinner. I was so impressed by the nice selection of restaurants in a lovely setting. We were able to walk up and down Campbell Avenue until we found a place that suited... More

It is amazing how popular this little area has become. It is very dog and pedestrian friendly and most of the restaurants have outside dining. There are so many choices and there is an excellent movie theater which shows some of the art type films. The Signature Theater is a big draw and the Arlington Library has great hours and... More

The best place to go for a variety of good restaurants and enjoy local theater and art house movies. The setting is peaceful, and pet friendly. Great place to spend a Sunday afternoon or any time for that matter. The choices of restaurants in itself makes it worthwhile, ranging from gourmet American, Thai, Japanese, Indian, Middle Eastern, Mexican, brewery burgers,... More

The Shirlington Village is a great place to hang out whether with your dog or your friends. The Village's offerings include the Signature Theater, where you enjoy a wide array of professional performances, a well-stocked county library, and great places to eat or shop. Yesterday we tried a new restaurant that we really liked: Copperwood. It will complement nicely the... More

Great place to hit for restaurants (Carlyle Grand, Busboy and Poets, the Irish pub I always forget the name, etc.). I also love the Shirlington Movie theatre. Their selections are great, even if the theater is very dated.
