My husband and I have been to several of these types of shows and I must say this is one of the worst we have ever attended. I do believe the company is out of business, which is probably a good thing. I have to put a date on this, but we went in earlier in 2012, not April 2013.

It was so horrible. THAT It was funny. LOL!!! Like Im laughing now to prevent myself from being upset. Where do I begin?. So I come to the location to find that its inside of the Marriott Courtyard Crystal City. I wonder why they left the Sheraton.. maybe they kicked them out. As soon as I found that it was... More

We've attended many dinner theaters (in another state). Those never had the acting troop waiting tables. This, and the quality of the play, leads me to believe that this is not an acting troop, but a wait staff required to also entertain. This lacked clues and even the play itself, that matched the plot. Food passable. Staff friendly. I also... More

Such a great idea and lots of fun. Their only downfall is the venue which is in what appears to be a meeting room with tables set up for dinner. Good food, fun atmosphere.

The entire family laughed throughout the entire show; and we correctly guessed " who dun-nit." My 8 year old is asking to go to more dinner mystery shows now. The food is satisfactory, could have been better for the price.

They cancelled our tickets just 5 hours before show time. Said they did not have enough patrons! Very poor customer relationms after traveling 300 miles. Be careful!

It was a few years ago we went to this, so maybe it's upgraded by now, but it's put me off dinner-theater forever. Very mediocre food served hurriedly and then a comedy act where they make fun of the audience and then I can't remember what the play was it was so intolerable.

I thought this sounded different and fun so I made sure to check reviews and thought it was a good choice. I was cautiously optimistic based on some of the reviews, but we did have a good time and laughed quite a bit. It was fun and different - just as I thought it might be. The food was not... More

As the last minute we decided to try out the mystery dinner and are we glad we did attend! While the setting seemed a bit odd using a closed restuarant, it actually ended up being and ideal setting due to the scene changes. We were sat at rounds of 8 with other couples which was part of the entertainment to... More

My girlfriends and I go out every 3-4 months just to get away from our daily responsibilities and to have a good time. We are an ethnically diverse group of single, divorced, and married ladies ranging in age from 25-75. On September 10, 2011 we chose the Mystery Dinner Playhouse in Arlington, VA as our venue. There were 17 of... More
