This past Sunday was just a delight from the cold weather and rain although it was necessary. I decided to venture out in the countryside for some R& R. This is my second trip to Unicorn Winery and definitely not my last. The wine connoisseur (man) was personable, knowledgeable, engaging, and less not forget attractive. Both the red and whites... Enjoyed this winery. Be prepared to just taste as it is not much to look at like the others. But you will enjoy yourself, the wine is delicious! More

We visited this winery on a groupon special. As it was the winter, it was too cold to sit outside with a picnic lunch but they have a nice seating area where you can bring your bag lunch. Pro's appealing grounds, nice pond area nice grounds area to have a picnic on nice wine "slushies", great for a warm summer... More

The atmosphere is nice but the wine needs work. Hopefully it will be better in a year or two. More

We've been to this winery twice. We actually like the olive oil that they sell there better than their wine. They have a nice outdoor area for enjoying their wine, so it's best to try to hit it on a pretty day. More

It's a nice place and the tasting is very good. They have some very good and interesting wines. The person who helped us was very knowledgeable and made the tasting very enjoyable. There are some nice places near a pond to sit and enjoy a bottle and some food. They have food to purchase and you can also just buy... More

We visited a lot of local vineyards and the wines here were much more affordable and still on par. Great recommendations and the staff was helpful! More

We visited Unicorn last weekend, and were pleasantly surprised by their wines. This is a nice little winery where you can taste and then relax in their patio area. We loved the "Slightly Embarrassed" blush wine, which is unusual for us. They were out of the Meritage which we would have loved to try. They also have frozen wine "slushes"... More

This is a real treat to find in Virginia. Many of the wines - particularly the well known Unicorn Meritage - rival the more expensive California wines. And the setting is gorgeous. A new two-level deck overlooking a serene pond with Koi and other water creatures is the perfect place to drink a bottle of wine! This is one of... More
