Nice old house with some outside areas to sit. Did not feel extremely welcome there. We started our tasting and then someone else came in and the women serving us went immediately to help that person without saying anything to us. The other person who took over continue four tasting, but that experience left us feeling a little taken for... More

....esp like the Victorian White and the Adieu dessert wine. Tasting are $5.00....lower end of the going rate for wine tastings. Pleasant area to have a glass of wine in the garden after your tasting. Nice people. Enjoy a little Confederate history while you are there.

This family owned winery was a great place to stop on our first annual girlfriend wine weekend! The staff were extremely friendly. They gave us the history of the winery & shared where the name came from! The staff were joking with us & made ya very comfortable. There were 4 of us in the group & we LOVED all... More

We've been twice, both experiences were excellent. We particularly like the 2013 Chardonnay and the Victorian Red. The tasting fee is the least expensive of any of the wineries in our area. The barrel room is open for inspection and at Christmas time they had a huge display of cork items like rocking horse, grandfather clock, and toy soldier, all... More

My husband and I stopped in and used our Virginia Wine Pass to get 2 complimentary tastings. Cathy quickly greeted us and served us our tasting. They only had 6 available to try right now as they have sold out of most at this time. We liked the Victorian White and Victorian Red. After our tasting, we each got a... More

Great stop! We enjoyed our tastings, and bought 3 wines we really enjoyed. One will be served at Thanksgiving!

We stopped here on our way to a weekend stay and thought it worthwhile. The tasting is reasonably priced and the staff is very knowledgeable. I was disappointed to find that their restroom was out of order, though. Hopefully that was a temporary thing. The wines were pretty good. Particularly liked Ranger, typical VA red blend, and the 2013 Chardonnay... More
