Great atmosphere for a small wedding!

Our good friends got married at the Carlyle Club last month and it was the first time I had ever been in here. The atmosphere was just like you were in another era but the wedding was not themed to that but it still fit perfectly. I loved that the bar area was separate from the main dining/dancing floor. There... More

Great Music, Good Drinks, Food only so so. They have quite a range of entertainment. All seats are good re viewing & listening to the music. I would suggest sticking to the snacks as the meals we had were not that good. The salad looked like it was prepared the day before.

My lovely wife and I were in the Washington DC area this weekend and stopped by The Carlyle Club. It is an old school supper club located in Old Town Alexandria, VA. We both loved the decor, it’s a very old school big band jazz club kind of vibe. There was an Earth, Wind, and Fire tribute band playing that... More

The club apparently is a nightlife spot that has just started offering lunch. We were there the first week of lunchtime operations. The food was good and very fast. The atmosphere is very lively, fun, and nostalgic (think Cab Calloway). There were problems though. No one greeted us for almost 10 minutes after entering. The chicken salad came from the... More

We had a group of 10 people. Food was great and service was wonderful. I would recommend to everyone. We had a variety of selections from the menu

Went to see Marcus Johnson and VMA, great show and the food was good but the place is very poorly run. We selected our table when we made the reservation online but apparently the floor plan online is from the old location. When we arrived we were jammed on one side of a tiny table right up in front of... More

On a whim, we decided to get tickets to a Thursday night jazz performance and had a wonderful evening. The atmosphere really is like the early 20th century clubs in some of the older movies. We reserved one of the booths facing the stage and arrived about 30 minutes before the performance so we could enjoy dinner prior to the... More

The food and entertainment was excellent! The venue managers and entertainers made my birthday one to remember for many years.

A real hidden gem as very few of the locals I talked with had been or even heard of it... Its big on private events / wedding receptions but is an awesome setting for date night dinner and live music... Booths in the back are definitely the best most intimate setting and book first, couples (2 peps) only tables at... More
