Excellent little out of the way venue for a concert, small and intimate. Not a bad seat in the house. You sit at tables, food and drink options, and service, is quite nice. Would definitely return. Saw Beth Hart and she rocked the place!

What a great place. Top notch "National Acts" found in a local setting. The venue hold several hundred but because there is no reserved seating it just comes down to how badly you want a front row seat and if you are willing to wait in line. You wait in line to buy your ticket and are given a number...

Having attended shows at this and the old location for more than 25 years I can attest to it being one of the finest listening rooms in the East. Decent food, good beer and always a great effort from the musicians made better by the quiet, respectful crowd.
have been going here since the 70's, it is the standard for fresh music in a cozy setting... nothing fancy, decent eats
I've been there several times, the food is good and you get to see musicians in a very small setting. Some of the acts are from back in time as well as name acts. Well worth it to go.
Understanding up front that I love Brian Culbertson and he never puts on a bad show, the new singers on this tour seemed to take the spotlight away from Brian (after all, he's the one we've come to see) and diluted the experience for me. I'd like a little more Brian and and lot less from the band and singers....

I've been frequenting the Birchmere for quite a few years, but had not been in the past 9+ months. I was back there this week for a Leo Kottke concert and was greeted with a fantastic facelift inside. The bar and band stand stage are all new, and the seating in the main hall is all new.
I still have...

I've been visiting the Birchmere for years. You sure can't beat the variety of the entertainment. If you are new to the Birchmere scene, you should know that the earlier you arrive (doors open at 5:00) the better chance you will have to score a great table near the stage. When you pick up your tickets, you will receive a...

I used to really love this place for seeing a good musical act. It was easy to get into and if you got there early enough you could really get a good seat. I felt like my last visit there was not as delighful. The prices had increased considerably since my last visit for good and drinks. You had to...
